Community Benefits
Pre-planning Credit
We offer a $300.00 credit per person/per cemetery site to encourage pre-planning.
In addition we provide flexible terms with no interest and a free Emergency Record Guide. This guide is an invaluable organizational tool for all your pre-planning needs. Call our office or send us an e-mail to schedule your consultation where our goal is to help you become an informed consumer.
Religious Organizations
If your religious organization has not registered for our program, please contact our office and ask for Marci Kreamer, General Manager.
ARC Citizens
ARC citizens are given a $500.00 credit on a cemetery site (per person/per site) for pre-need arrangements
Veterans
As a thank you for their service to our country, the following is a list of our veteran services:
- $500.00 credit off of a cemetery site for immediate or pre-need arrangements
- As a courtesy, we will file the paperwork for the government marker
- Flags will line the walkway for veteran services
- Flags will be place on veteran graves for Memorial Day
Volunteer Firefighter/EMS
We have a program in place for volunteer firefighters and EMS called the Volunteer Emergency Responder Certificate of Credit or VERC. This certificate is valued at $1,000.00. That means when you call to schedule your no-cost consultation and then decide to prefund your arrangements you will receive a $1,000.00 discount on the cost of a cemetery site. Your family members are entitled to a $300.00 discount per site. The discount is per person/per site.
End-of-life decisions should be thoughtful and discussed well ahead of time among key family members. We hope you take advantage of this benefit program that provides real savings to each member and can reduce the stress of making decisions during a difficult time. The requirements to qualify are six months of service and presentation of your I.D. card at your arrangement conference.
We also offer a designated area for Calvert County Firefighters and EMS, if preferred. This is the same area where a monument honoring Calvert County Firefighters and EMS was installed. Chesapeake Higlands Memorial Gardens donated the land where the monument has been placed and provided the monument at-cost. A piece of the World Trade Center was procured by Volunteer Firefighter and Chaplain Mike Bowen and is in place on a seperate, smaller granite memorial. For the past 3 years CHMG has hosted the Annual Fallen Heroes Day, which is a remembrance ceremony honoring fallen Firefighters and EMS usually held the 3rd Sat. of May.
